So, I finally got around to starting up the ubiquitous ‘art blog’. Feels like a good time though, with the rest of the summer ahead of me. Hopefully it’ll help keep me focused on completing some projects and not just randomly doodling all summer.
I figured I’d start off with one of the last things I did in my junior year. It’s an illustration loosely based on the poem “La Belle Dame Sans Merci” by John Keats, which you can read here: http://www.bartleby.com/126/55.html if interested. Don’t know if I’m done with it yet, I’m contemplating spray-fixing it and layering light acrylic washes over it, but we’ll see.
